Apprenticeship Information for Prospective Roofers
|
![]() "Canada's roofing industry identified the need for a core national roofing training and upgrading manual to provide the theoretical and technical information required to perform the tasks set out in the National Training Standards for both apprentices and journeypersons. Research and development of the manual took place from 1995 to 1999. The 678-page manual is divided into four separate books. The manual serves as a ready reference for use on the job site and to supplement other information that roofers require to do their jobs safely, effectively and efficiently. The manual will be useful not only for journeypersons and apprentices, but also to other groups central to roofing - from architects and engineers to specifiers and building owners."
